Instructions for loading
1. Holding the barrel, unscrew the pen knob so that the knib holder and the cartridge holder move outwards.
2. Insert the cartridge in the opening on the cartridge holder, as shown in the drawing.
3. Holding the barrel, now screw the knob in the opposite direction. The seal of the cartridge will break as the knib holder screw retracts.
Note: Carry out this procedure in reverse to replace the cartridge. The system has a spring which facilitates release and removal of the cartridge.

Instructions for cleaning the barrel
1 Open the barrel of the pen unscrewing the pen knob so that the knib holder and the cartridge holder move outwards.
2 Remove the cartridge
3 Wash the cartridge holder with cold running water, making it flow from the top of the cartridge holder to its bottom.
4 Dry with a cold breath of air or with a lint-free cloth
Note: This cartridge holder cleaning is advised everytime the colour of the cartridge is changed.
