To write, turn the cap clockwise.
To retract the ball, turn the cap anti-clockwise.
Fitting ballpoint refills 1 Remove the cap by pulling it. (Attention for mod. 1930 anti-clockwise unscrewing). 2 Unscrew the mechanism anti-clockwise to remove it from the body. 3 Fit the new refill, taking care to seat the spring correctly. 4 Re-assemble the ballpoint pen in the reverse sequence.
