Fountain pen filling: 1 Gently twist the end of the barrel anti-clockwise until it stops naturally. Do not force. 2 Submerge the entire nib into the ink. 3 Twist the end of the barrel clockwise. This action draws ink to the pen. 4 Leaving nib submerged in ink, repeat the operation 3-4 times to eliminate any air in the barrel. 5 Finally, draw ink to the pen for one last time.Then unscrew the end enough to let one or two drops of ink fall from the nib.
Maintenance:
- For perfect functioning use only Omas ink.
- Use only soft, clean, lint-free cloth to wipe excess ink off the nib after filling.
- Every 3-4 fillings of the pen, the interior should be washed with cool water. Flush the pen with water using the same process as if filling with ink. This procedure is important to remove dried ink.
- During air travel, please keep pen at least half full.
