To celebrate along with the House of the Trident the seventieth anniversary of the mythical Maserati 8CTF victory in Indianapolis, Omas has realized a limited and numbered set of collectible writing instruments.
After the success of the “Omas for Maserati Limited Edition”, Omas renews again its partnership with Maserati under the sign of an unmistakable and inimitable style.
First and only one European Car Manufacturer that conquered two times in a row, in 1939 and 1940, the victory in the most extraordinary American car race, the Indianapolis 500 Miles Race, Maserati celebrates its 8CTF model with an exceptional object. The car Maserati 8 Cilindri Testa Fissa, 8CTF, nicknamed BOYLE SPECIAL, in honour of the American sponsor who funded this overseas enterprise, has the right to be in the motoring world history.
Made of Silver 925‰, re-creating exactly the peculiar Maroon colour of the 8CTF, with precious ruthenium trims, it expresses the desire to reproduce a writing tool with the extraordinary details that characterised the historical Maserati model.
The original logos of the Car Manufacturer are finely engraved on the knob, on the nib holder and on the ring on the cap, the ruthenium plated 18k Gold nib, the number “1” engraved on the cap to celebrate the first place gained by the Maserati 8CTF, are just some details of the handcrafted Limited Edition of only 70 numbered pieces.
